What You’ll Do

Returnalyze is the first AI platform that identifies and prevents retail returns before they happen. Our analytics runs in production across dozens of client environments and millions of transactions. We’re hiring a hands-on Data Engineer to own, implement, and architect a scalable enterprise grade data pipeline. You’ll build and maintain the ingestion and transformation pipelines, help stand up and operate our cloud data warehouse, and productionize analytics so they run reliably at client scale.

  • Architect and implement an enterprise scale data warehouse
  • Build and maintain ingestion and transformation pipelines that turn large, heterogeneous client datasets into usable product analytics.
  • Own the client data onboarding process end to end: scripting, schema mapping, and anonymization
  • Stand up and operate the cloud data warehouse and orchestration layer; keep pipelines reliable, monitored, and observable
  • Instrument data-quality checks, monitoring, and alerting; catch drift and breakage before clients do.
  • Document pipelines and recovery processes (Confluence) 
  • Partner with product and customer success to support demo environments and client-facing analytics

Key Requirements

  • Strong foundation in software/data engineering with competency in Python, SQL
  • 2+ years architecting data warehouses and databases
  • 2+ years designing, implementing, and supporting data ETL pipelines
  • 2+ years working in a cloud managed data warehouse environment such as Snowflake, GCP Compute Engine, or equivalent
  • 1+ years working with REST apis
  • Hybrid model: need to be in the office 3 days per week

Preferred Skills

  • 3+ years of experience working in a cloud environment
  • 3+ years of experience ML/AI
  • 1+ years of experience Terraform
  • 3+ years experience architecting Snowflake data warehouses in enterprise setting
  • 1+ years experience working in Retail space with understanding of Retail Data
  • Retail domain knowledge and experience building in the retail sector

What You’ll Do

  • Build out platform features and create hotfixes for bugs as surfaced by customers
  • Collaborate with data and analytics teams for enable new platform capabilities

What You’ll Do

Returnalyze is the first AI platform that identifies and prevents retail returns before they happen. The software engineering intern will be responsible for assisting with building out features and fixing bugs for the platform in collaboration with other software engineers on the team.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Execute personalized multi-channel outreach across email, phone, and LinkedIn

  • Hit weekly activity targets and contribute to a culture of accountability

About the Role

As a Marketing & Communications Intern at Returnalyze, you’ll work directly with our CMO to support high‑impact storytelling, brand building, and go‑to‑market execution. This role is hands‑on, fast‑moving, and perfect for someone who wants to learn how modern SaaS marketing works inside a growing retail technology company.

What You’ll Work On

Content Creation & Storytelling – You’ll help craft clear, compelling content across channels, from social posts and drip emails to customer stories and event messaging. You’ll learn how to translate complex ideas into simple, engaging narratives that resonate with retailers.

Marketing Operations & Execution – You’ll support day‑to‑day marketing activities including campaign coordination, asset organization, website updates, and tracking performance metrics. You’ll help keep projects moving and ensure our messaging stays consistent and on brand.

Communications Support – You’ll assist with internal and external communications, including drafting announcements, prepping materials for leadership, and helping shape Returnalyze’s voice across touchpoints. You’ll learn how to communicate with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Research & Insights – You’ll gather competitive intel, industry trends, and retail insights to help inform messaging and strategy. You’ll learn how to turn research into actionable recommendations that support marketing decisions.

Event & Campaign Support – You’ll help prepare materials for conferences, webinars, and customer-facing initiatives — from slide prep to social promotion to post-event follow‑up. You’ll see how campaigns come together end‑to‑end.
